The fine print
Privacy
What this site collects, which is very little, and what happens to it.

The short version
I don't run ad trackers, I don't sell anything about you, and I don't have a login system to leak. The only personal information I ever hold is an email address you typed in yourself.
The newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address is stored by my email provider so I can send you the newsletter. That's the entire purpose. I don't share the list, rent it, or send it anywhere else. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list. You don't have to ask me.
Analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you between sites. I see totals (pages, referrers, rough country), not profiles of individual people, and none of it is tied to your email address.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, the retailer (usually Amazon) sets its own cookie so it knows the visit came from here. That cookie belongs to them and is covered by their privacy policy, not mine. See the disclosure page for how the money side works.
Hosting and fonts
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for a short period for security and abuse prevention. The typeface is served from this domain, so no font company sees your visit.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it.
- Email me at hello@misterportable.com to ask what I hold about you, or to have it deleted. I'll do it within 30 days, and usually the same week.
- Block cookies in your browser. Nothing on Mister Portable breaks if you do.
Children
This site isn't aimed at children under 13 and I don't knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top changes with it. Material changes get mentioned in the newsletter too.
